By using this website, registering for an event, or participating in any Sanatan Association of New Jersey (SANJ) activity, you agree to the following terms.

Waiver & Release

Participating in SANJ activities — including pujas, festivals, picnics, yoga programs, and volunteer or blood donation drives — involves some risk of injury, illness, or property damage. Participation is voluntary, and by taking part you accept these risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release SANJ, its executive committee, and its volunteers from liability for ordinary negligence in connection with your participation. This does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

For participants under 18: a parent or guardian is responsible for their child's participation and authorizes SANJ volunteers to seek emergency medical care and transport if needed. Parents are responsible for ensuring any medication their child may need (such as an EpiPen) stays with the child.

Photos & Video

SANJ may photograph or record events and use these images for our website, newsletters, and social media. If you'd prefer an image of you or your child not be used, email us at contactsanatannj@gmail.com and we'll remove it.

Payments & Donations

Donations and payments to SANJ are made to a non-profit organization and are processed securely through Zeffy or via Zelle. SANJ does not store your payment information. All payments, including tickets, sponsorships, and vendor fees, are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

Code of Conduct

To keep our events welcoming for all families, we ask everyone to treat others with respect. The following are not allowed at SANJ events: hostile or abusive language, weapons, illegal drugs, alcohol (except where a licensed venue permits it), smoking or vaping indoors, and disruption of pujas or cultural programs. Violations may result in removal from an event without a refund.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page.
